FLY

This non-verbal explores themes of existence, destiny, and the human condition through surreal imagery—such as a bowl of chicken soup, G-force weightlessness, vacuum cleaning, and the umbilical cord. In this head-spinning “space odyssey,” the protagonist encounters destiny within a universe created from his own soup.
FLY is a mini multimedia theatre show that combines live acting, music, and real-time filmmaking. A cameraman, a musician, and various film sets serve as the performance’s ingredients. The audience witnesses the live creation and production of a short film, as if watching a tennis match. Surrounded by film sets and installations, the audience sees scenes being created, cut, and projected onto a movie screen in real time.
