Ung på vej is an initiative parallel to the festival’s official programme where we present performances created by young amateur groups, with young people and for young people. It is their stories, their expressions and their communities we get to experience, and we believe we will be seeing more to them in the future.

With a phone in hand, young people from Generation Z explore everything that social media has to offer. They scroll through TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, watch cat videos in the middle of the night, and sneak a peek at others’ perfect lives. Social media connects them with everything they could do and be. On stage, there is a balance between BeReal and the glossy images of editing filters, and it explores how likes, comments, and followers affect the youth.
