BUTiK

Romeo & Juliet

The greatest love story, told without any words. Freely after William Shakespeare. The two young people, Romeo and Juliet, fall in love, even though their families hate each other. They marry in secret, but a series of accidents and misunderstandings make Romeo believe Juliet is dead. He takes his own life in despair, and when Juliet wakes up and sees him dead, she does the same. Only then, the families realize how pointless their enmity was. The classic love story, told nonverbally, with humor, ease, soloistic in pure physics and mime. A show in a light and playful tone, suitable for children from 7 years old.

The boy who could drink a Sea

Once upon a time there was a boy who was so thirsty that he could drink a sea! He asked his parents for a glass of milk, but his mother didn't have time, and his father didn't have time—so he packed his favorite things in his backpack and went out into the world to find his grandmother, because she always gave him a big glass of cold milk and a freshly baked cake. And afterwards, he was allowed to play with the nice things she had on her bookcase. But it's not easy to find your grandmother's house. Because the world is big, and it's full of strange creatures... and strange shadows!

Songs from above

About being a little human in a very wonderful world Co-produced with Teater MY A white and open tent is holding children and adults in a safe and gentle embrace. Inside the sky tent there’s light and plenty of stars with doors that can be opened to reveal exciting surprises and small stories. The stories are accompanied by gentle musical elements, children’s laughter and babble, clocks and soft ringing tones, all of which supports the plot and the celestial world. Great is the joy of recognition as the humorous and peculiar stories unfold before the very eyes of the children. A musical and pictorial experience for the little ones. “A beautiful celebration of the simple, childlike joy of the world and all it holds. Mette Rosleff radiates calm and a powerful, infectious presence.” ★★★★★☆ –

Repeatclub

Why is it night?

A poetic tale of light and darkness, dreams and magic – for children and their adults! Based on the creation myth, Raven steals the light, which originates from the Haida people (British Columbia, Canada) darkness is staged as a magical space for strange appearances and transformations. The myth tells how Raven succeeds in returning the light to a world swallowed by darkness. Through magic, visual theatre, and music, the tale is retold, and the darkness is tamed. A custom-built and light-sealed dome forms a theatre space that embraces both stage and audience. A cave where total darkness can be created – a traveling fragment of the night. Please note! Although complete darkness occurs in a few scenes, the performance is created with young audiences in mind (from 6 years). CREDITS: Idea, cre
