Romeo & Juliet

The greatest love story, told without any words. Freely after William Shakespeare. The two young people, Romeo and Juliet, fall in love, even though their families hate each other. They marry in secret, but a series of accidents and misunderstandings make Romeo believe Juliet is dead. He takes his own life in despair, and when Juliet wakes up and sees him dead, she does the same. Only then, the families realize how pointless their enmity was. The classic love story, told nonverbally, with humor, ease, soloistic in pure physics and mime. A show in a light and playful tone, suitable for children from 7 years old.

It´s mine!

“It’s Mine!” is a puppet performance for the very young, featuring puppeteer Astrid Kjær. The performance explores greed and ownership within a wondrous and reflective universe. Focusing on young children’s experiences with — and ability to share — it examines how ownership and greed can isolate, but also how community and empathy can bring joy. The story follows a small creature who collects everything — from tiny objects to big dreams — and ends up alone atop its mountain of things. Only when the creature decides to share does it perhaps find a true friend.

Why is it night?

A poetic tale of light and darkness, dreams and magic – for children and their adults! Based on the creation myth, Raven steals the light, which originates from the Haida people (British Columbia, Canada) darkness is staged as a magical space for strange appearances and transformations. The myth tells how Raven succeeds in returning the light to a world swallowed by darkness. Through magic, visual theatre, and music, the tale is retold, and the darkness is tamed. A custom-built and light-sealed dome forms a theatre space that embraces both stage and audience. A cave where total darkness can be created – a traveling fragment of the night. Please note! Although complete darkness occurs in a few scenes, the performance is created with young audiences in mind (from 6 years). CREDITS: Idea, cre

I can fly

A sensory, almost wordless performance about courage, curiosity and discovering that you can do more than you think. Inspired by “Johathan Livingstone Seagull” They meet by the sea, where the wind blows stories between feathers and shells. One listens to the waves and watches birds. The other is curious, mischievous and full of speed. They are as different as sand and water – and yet they approach each other. Sometimes things go wrong. But there is also something that grows. Courage. Trust. And a little breath of friendship. And then something happens that lifts them. Maybe it is the wind – maybe courage. Because sometimes you just have to believe so much that the air starts to carry.
