Artistic advisory board
The festival publishes its programme at the beginning of June. It is curated by the Programme Director, the Festival Director and an artistic board with five members serving four-year periods.
Leading up to the 2024 festival, the artistic board consists of:
- Amina Krohn Membar, producer at the production collective PRFRM (2023-2026)
- Lars Dammark, actor and artistic director of teaterRUM (2022-2025)
- Katrine Karlsen, actress and artistic director of Teater Graense-loes (2022-2025)
- Daniel Bevensee, co-founder of Teater Apropos, actor, and scenographer (2021-2024)
- Gunilla Lind, theatre director and choreographer, Gunilla Lind Dance Theatre (2021-2024)
The task of the artistic advisory board is to review, recommend, and select performances for the festival. The program is assembled with a focus on quality and diversity within Danish performing arts for children and young people.
The dramaturgical committee consists of professionals appointed by the Horsens Theatre Festival. The composition of the dramaturgical committee aims for diversity, both artistically and geographically.
