Ung p\u00e5 vej<\/em> is an initiative parallel to the festival\u2019s official programme where we present performances created by<\/em> young amateur groups, with<\/em> young people and for <\/em>young people. With a phone in hand, young people from Generation Z explore everything that social media has to offer. They scroll through TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, watch cat videos in the middle of the night, and sneak a peek at others’ perfect lives. Social media connects them with everything they could do and be. On stage, there is a balance between BeReal and the glossy images of editing filters, and it explores how likes, comments, and followers affect the youth.<\/p>
